In this tutorial, you will know that how to convert Excel to TXT format. They way to convert, it depends on version which you are using in your device. These steps are same for all Excel versions, like Microsoft Excel for office 365, Excel 2019, Excel 2016, Excel 2013, Excel 2010 and Excel 2007. But, i mention the steps according to Excel version.
Convert Excel to TXT Format using Windows
First of all, open your Word file which you want to convert or save as TXT format. If you don’t have then open Microsoft Excel and create new one and follow the steps:
For Microsoft Excel for office 365, Excel 2016, and Excel 2013: Click File in the top left corner.
For Microsoft Excel 2010 and Excel 2007: Click the Microsoft Office icon in the top left corner.
Click Save As option in the left sidebar.
Under Save As, click Browse (You don’t need this step in Excel 2010 and Excel 2007).
New window will appear. Here you can choose location where you want to save your TXT file. After File name, enter name of the file (optional). After Save as type list, select Text (*.txt) and press Save button.
That’s it! You can go now to your selected location to see your converted TXT file.
