Method 1: For Microsoft Office Excel for office 365, Microsoft Office Excel 2016, and Microsoft Office Excel 2013
Open Excel file, Click File in the top left corner.
Click Export option in the left sidebar.
Under Create a PDF/XPS Document, click Create PDF/XPS.
New window will open. After Save as type, select XPS Document (*.xps) option from the list.
Check Open file after publishing if you want to view file. You can optimize your file for standard and Minimum size. Also, you can select page range, publish what (entire book, selected area, and active sheet), Include non-printing information and XPS document options by clicking at Options.
When you finalized, click Publish button.
Open excel source file, Click File in the top left corner.
Click Save As option in the left sidebar menu.
In the Save As dialog box, select location where you want to save your XPS file.
Enter a name of the file in the File Name field. After Save As Type list, select XPS Document (*.xps) and press Save.
Open Excel file that you want to convert or save as XPS format. Click the Microsoft Office Button in the top left corner.
Click Save As option in the left sidebar.
Under Save As, click Browse or you can choose another option where you want to save XPS file. For example, OneDrive.
In the Save As dialogue box, navigate to the location where you want to save your XPS file. In the Save as type list, select the file format XPS Document (*.xps). Click Save.
That’s it! You can go now to your selected location to see your converted XPS file.
